Nothing beats an easy to make and even easier to prepare roast chicken!

But, when we roast chicken, we don’t do it with just a sprinkling of salt. No no no…we do it with FLAVOUR. There is so much of it in this chicken that beats any restaurant chicken.

What You'll Need;

Juice from 1 lemon

4 garlic clove - minced

1 tbsp each of mince -Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano

2 tbsp olive oil

and 1 tbsp butter

Salt and Pepper

Additional Sprig of Rosemary and Thyme

2 Lemon Slices

3 garlic cloves

How;

Preheat the oven at 210-degree celsius.

Wash and soaked the chicken in lemon juice for at least 30 min then pat dry the chicken.

Combine together garlic, minced herbs, olive oil, butter, a generous amount of salt and pepper.

Place the chicken on a roasting pan then rub the garlic herbs all over the chicken (if possible under the skin) including it cavity. Then stuff the chicken cavity with a sprig of rosemary, thyme, lemon slices and garlic.

Baked in a pre-heated oven, turn accordingly every 15 min until the chicken is ready, around 45 min. When you turn it around, sprinkle it with the juice that accumulated at the bottom of your pan.

Before serving, let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes and serve with some green salad and potatoes.
